Buone Feste Show opening tomorrow! It runs until January 8.

You're all invited to my show opening at the
  • RiverWinds Gallery
  • Saturday night, November 11, from 5-8pm. There are 10 of my paintings in the gallery, ranging in size from 5x7 to 12x16. It's Second Saturday in Beacon, so all the galleries and shops are open late. It's a great time and place for some early holiday shopping. You can click to see their website for more information about the show. It will feature paintings and photographs, in addition to a wide variety of crafts by local artisans. I hope to see you there! The show will be running until January 8.

Still More Paintings at The Paint Box!

You can see bunches of my new work at The Paint Box in Bedford Hills. I just dropped off 9 new pieces for Gale to show. They are mostly small paintings that would make ideal holiday gifts...plus one HUGE painting. If you're in the area, stop by and have a look! Here's
  • The Paintbox Website
  • for the phone number and address.

Here are just a few of my paintings currently on display there:

    Eat Me!
This is a small (5x7") oil painting, done from life here in my studio. It's one of my personal favorites from this fall. I had a hard time letting this one go to the gallery!

Red Fields and the Stone Barn at Ward Pound Ridge
is another 5x7" oil painting done en plein air (on location) at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation. This exquisite 4700 acre preserve is one of the Westchester County Parks, located just a few minutes from the The Paint Box. I've been wanting to paint this barn for years, and finally got around to it this fall!

    Fall Over Constitution Marsh

The painting below is a 24x36" oil painting done on location at Boscobel Restoration in Garrison, NY. It was painted up on the bluff, high above the Hudson overlooking Constitution Marsh, on four very windy days. I had to weigh the easel down by suspending my backpack from it, to stop it from blowing over!
